Welcome to the Berlitz online placement test! The Berlitz online placement test enables you to assess your current knowledge of German, English, French, Spanish or Italian in order to see which Berlitz programmes are most suitable. For all other languages, please contact your local Berlitz centre where our staff will be pleased to arrange a personal consultation and comprehensive language placement test for you.
The Berlitz online placement test requires certain technical specifications; please check your PC for the following before starting the test:
- Windows® Version: 98, Me, NT, 2000, or XP
- Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5 or higher
- Macromedia® Flash™ player V6.0.65.0 or higher
- 128 MB RAM, 700 Mhz CPU
- Soundcard with speakers or headset
Please note that it may be necessary for you to disable pop-up blockers on your system in order to run the test.
The test takes 20 to 40 minutes to complete (depending on how quickly you answer the questions). Please read the instructions that appear after you have entered your personal details carefully.
