Edinburgh, Scotland's beautiful capital city, enjoys a unique setting on the North Sea among seven hills. Every August and September the city plays host to the world-famous Edinburgh Festival. But even the outside the busy summer months the city of Edinburgh has a wide selection of cultural events and activities. Hogmanay, the New Year's Festival, has already become the world's biggest New Year celebration.
The breathtaking Highlands are only a short drive away and easily accessible over the weekend, making Edinburgh the ideal base for a language learning vacation.
